The Iraqi national team bid farewell to the Arab Cup tournament being held in Qatar on Friday, after losing to Jordan 1-0 in the quarterfinals.

Jordan’s lone goal was scored by Alaa Alwan in the 41st minute from the penalty spot.

With this loss, the Iraqi team was eliminated from the tournament, while Jordan advanced to the semifinals to face Saudi Arabia, who defeated Palestine
